Can I really get stress free in 30 days? I guess that is the question most of us would like to know the answer to. According to Charles Linden, yes you can. Charles is known as the most influential authority on stress and anxiety having suffered from it himself, been medicated and devised, developed, used and led workshops to help others recover from the debilitating symptoms of stress.

Stress Free in 30 Days is a highly detailed book that will inform the reader about the many aspects of stress and the ways they manifest. Furthermore, there is a 30 day program in this book that takes you day by day to becoming stress free. For some it may seem basic, and to others it may seem slightly overwhelming, but from my reading of this book, each day/chapter is in a bite-size chunk containing information that will make a positive impact upon your life. I’m very much a fan of “less is more” and the simplicity of the steps detailed here are calming in themselves.

What I particularly liked about this book was that throughout the book there were a handful of case studies from people who have actually used these methods. It’s a pro-active approach to taking back control of your life and reducing the stress in your life leading you to healthier and happier life. With endorsements from the likes of Jodie Kidd, Jemma Kidd and Plum Sykes (Vogue USA Fashion Editor & Bestselling Novelist) you really can’t help but believe in the techniques.

The added bonus to this book is that it is accompanied with a CD at the back of the book that contains powerful visualisation tracks to help you throughout the 30 days practice. Also, Charles has developed a lead off from this method specifically of children which I find of high importance. Specifically tailored for 7-17 year olds, you can purchase The Linden Method Junior Edition Program if you have a child who seems to be anxious, and is in need of relief. What I find of huge comfort is that Charles developed this Junior Edition because he too had been that child in need of relief from anxiety and depression, he’s been the teenager on antidepressants, so he does truly understand what children can go through.
