“I am so grateful today for all our servicemen and women”
Yesterday it was Rememberence Sunday here in the UK and out of respect, along with millions of others I gave 2 minutes of my time at 11am in silence to remember all our fallen soldiers.
I used this time to think about just how blessed I am to be living the life I am, thanks to all those men and women who give their lives for us. I also gave much thought in remembrance and gratitude to my Grandfather who was not only in the Polish Army, but after he came to England after escaping the concentration camps, joined the British Army to serve our country. What he must have gone through, the sheer terror and pain is unthinkable. But I am eternally grateful to him, his friends, his colleagues, and everyone who have been in that same position. My heart simply cannot express my thanks fully.
“I am so thankful to all the servicemen and women who served our country in WW1, WW2 and the current conflicts going on in our world. May they be blessed with love, light and strength.”
Monday November 12th
“Thank you to all the shoe designers who make a girls world just a little bit more exciting!”
Today, this is a bit of a cheeky gratitude post, and why not? It’s so important to have fun and follow your heart. So today, I am very grateful for the many pretty shoes out there! Sometimes a pair of shoes can really change the way we think. As the great saying from Marilyn Monroe goes;
Shoes can give a woman all the confidence she needs to succeed in life, for men it might be that great tie, the perfect cuff-links, or even blazer. What you wear really affects how your perceived by others and yourself. It also effects your posture which is really important when trying to be more successful. They don’t call it “Power Dressing” for nothing.
So how about today, we express our gratitude for those things;
“I am so grateful today for all the wonderful ways in which we can dress for success, the power than comes from the things we wear. Here’s to success!”
